The prevalence of overweight and obesity poses a challenge for society<\/strong>. The latest data reveals that almost half (49.3%) of the adult population are living with overweight, while 15.9% are living with obesity.<\/p>\n Forecasts for 2030 are alarming, with a predicted obesity prevalence of 17.2% among women and 27.6% among men. In children and adolescents, 19% struggle with overweight; while a subgroup of 5,8% has obesity.
